Is it too formal to say "a aceptar que tu no estas aqui" (to accept that you are not here)? Should a and tu be removed because they are assumed or can they stay?

Drop the 'a' and spell 'tú', 'estás' and 'aquí' with the tilde as I have. Sure, you can drop the 'tú', but if you have a reason to emphasize 'you are not here' then it should stay. It depends on what you're trying to express.
