Me alegro de que- I am pleased/cheered that- pronominal requires de
Me alegra que- It pleases/cheers me that
No need for tú, but it requires the tilde to be the subject pronoun.
Since you are talking about your feeling about something, not declaring it as a fact, subjunctive is needed for what follows (the verb it directly controls).
My thoughts:
Me alegro de que quieras aprender español.
Me alegra que quieras aprender español.
