¿A quien preguntais? ¿Quien preguntais?

The "a mí" bit is what we call a clarifier. It is used to give emphasis. You can leave it off if you want.
Quién = Who? A quién = To whom.
¿Quién habla? Who is speaking?
¿A quién habla? To whom are you (usted) speaking?

Me gusta mucho el verano = I really like the summer.
A mi me gustó mucho el verano. = I really enjoyed the summer
