Bureaucracy is the art of making the simple, complex, so that people in power can create excuses for not making the necessary changes to benefit the rest of us!

Bureaucracy only exists for one or both of the following reasons.

Someone is addicted to exercising power or There is money in it.

La burocracia sólo existe para una o ambas de las siguientes razones.

Alguien es adicto al ejercicio del poder o Hay dinero en ella.

Ayer en trabajo tuve que leer doce paginas de burocracia escrita por alguien empleado por otra oficina para hacer un estudio de mi trabajo. Evidentamente esto individo no tiene ninguna idéa de lo que hago, y el idioma del documento fue lleno de jerga y palabras de moda del tipo que aun un hablante nativo con inteligencia media encontraría díficil a entender. Tuve que escribir una repuesta. Esta otra persona gustó lo que había escrito, pero quisó que yo cambiaría una palabra sola... Porque no fue 'plain English'... ¡ Estuve furioso !
