adjective ( faithful, loyal )

Georgeir is the official corrector of the Spanish sentences. Please correct your entries according to his suggestions. There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. Use today's Word of the Day in your own Spanish sentence (and include the English translation as well). Try to use the word in a completely new way and vote on the sentences you like best. The winner will be chosen based upon the correct use of the word as well as the number of votes.
Guidelines:
Write sentences at least 5 words long, but don't write a paragraph either. Write your Spanish sentence, but include the English translation as well. Make the corrections suggested by other users and moderators in the comments section (try not to use personal pronouns unless absolutely necessary). Use your own words! (Don't use a translator, copy from a book, use song lyrics, etc.) Please keep political, religious or personal statements to a minimum. This is a practice game.

Cuanto más vieja grande me pongo, menos me siento obligada a seguir siendo fiel a ideas en las que ya no creo. Mi lealtad a mí misma me hace abandonar todo lo que ya ha quedado atrás y e, irónicamente, por eso a veces me creen infiel. Bueno, es la verdad. No se puede ser fiel a todo.
The older I get, the less I feel obliged to keep on being faithful to ideas I no longer believe in. My loyalty to myself makes me abandon everything that I have already outgrown and, ironically, for this reason people sometimes think I'm unfaithful. Ah well, it's true. You cannot be loyal to everything.

Mi perro Wolfie, de raza pastor alemán, es un perro muy fiél pero se emociona desmasiado y por eso, a veces no se comporta muy bien. Esta noche, la primera en nuestra casa nueva, ha sido un poco difícil para todos, después de tres días de viaje llegamos con Wolfie ladrando como loco, el ex-dueño de la casa gritando en alta voz, su mujer gritando que este no sirve por nada( verdad) y el corredor hablando a toda velocidad.Estoy hecho polvo.
My dog , Wolfie, a German Shepherd, is a very faithful dog but he gets too excited and because of this , sometimes he doesn't behave well. This evening, a case in question, the first night in our new home, has been a trifle difficult for everyone with Wolfie barking like mad, the previous owner of the house shouting at the top of his voice, his wife shouting to him that this is useless, and the agent talking at top speed. I'm totally knackered.
