Hi, this is a question about the correct way to describe food, specifically foie gras.

If I want to say a "thick (piece of) foie gras" in spanish, would it be "trozo grueso de foie gras"? How do I say it to make it sound appropriate/appetizing?

This may be local, but we say "paté de fuá (mimicking the French pronunciation of foie).

According to the Real Academia Española's Dictionary:

fuagrás. (Del fr. foie-gras). 1. m. Paté de hígado, generalmente de ave o cerdo.

Quiero un buen trozo de fuagrás.
