How to Find Flashcards by Other Members

How do you find flashcard sets that have been created by SD Users? I want to know because I posted earlier asking SD members to look at a couple of my flashcard lists in order to help improve them, but with only one response I was curious why so little response so I tried to look up my own "listed" flashcards selecting "user sets". But the flashcards that appear have nothing to do with my search. I know others have found my them in the past because I see several SD members who have accessed them.

I'm sure this is a very dumb question; SD didn't even bother to respond my 2 inquiries about this!

Estoy de acuerdo - Like Bosque says, you can't complain too much about things that are free. Thank you Ian, for taking the time to comment (after all, you're one of the top 2 in SD land which puts you in a similar category to..... Lazarus? - t8805jg, Mar 14, 2015
... and I mean that seriously (whatever happened to Lazarus anyway? - t8805jg, Mar 14, 2015

To find the flashcards of a specific user is easy- you go to their profile page, http://www.spanishdict.com/users/125436/t8805jg, go down to their personal sets, and press more: http://www.spanishdict.com/flashcards/personal/125436

To find the most recent choose the flashcard tab, and from the flashcard page, under where it says browse all flashcard sets, chose user sets: http://www.spanishdict.com/flashcards/browse/user

That is where anybody will find them if not directed.

There is a search function- on any of the pages the box labeled search flashcards, that you can type in a word and find flashcard sets that have that word. It however only seems to search sets prior to sometime in 2012, so does not find newer sets for some reason. I am not sure when it is, but I can find my first set, which I made in very early 2012, but nothing after that, not even my second, which was also the first half of 2012.

That seems a real glitch, but honestly I haven’t reported it, as I have not gotten much feedback on the few things I have reported.

De nada. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 13, 2015
Yes Bosque the search function seems to work for things prior to 2012 - not just for flashcards but also to find a user. - ian-hill, Mar 13, 2015
Yes Bosque the search function only seems to work for things prior to 2012 - not just for flashcards but also to find a user - and it does not work at all on the reference articles. - ian-hill, Mar 13, 2015
I think that is true for questions and answers as well- I can only find the old answers. Which is difficult when I know there is a good answer out there that I saw, but can't find. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 13, 2015
But I was raised not to complain too much about what someone is providing you for free. - bosquederoble, Mar 13, 2015

Besides the great suggestion from Bosqueroble, you can click on the people that have been the Student of the Week or on the points board (click flashcards & you should find them). Those on that list find sets all the time. I often follow their trail to find new sets.

Sanlee has some good sets.

Mariana has some good ones too.

Ingeteacher really went out of her way to make good sets.
