Is there a way to bookmark or favorite a word so that I can come back to it later?

You can create a flashcard set with your words, and edit to add words as you go (remembering to delete unneeded slots that are created when you edit).

You can bookmark other people’s flashcard sets, and they show up in your favorite sets list.
But I do not know a way specific to the site that lets you bookmark words individually. You can use the bookmark feature of your browser to register dictionary pages, and create a folder that you keep them in, but that is a general browser function and not unique to the site.
