Hola. Again, I am tasked with choosing between el pretérito imperfecto and pretérito indefinido and one question has me stumped:
- ¿Señor González, ha terminado el informe?
- Lo siento, ayer cuando lo estaba/estuve terminando me llamó mi padre y tuve/tenía que ir con él al médico. Estuvimos/estábamos toda la noche en el hospital.
I have put my answers in bold, but have changed my mind about the last one several times. What do you think?
