Fluido or fluidez?
¡Hola amigos!
I would like to know what contexts are appropriate for the use of the words "fluido" and "fluidez" (fluent).
¡Muchas gracias!

¡Hola John!
SpanishDict's dictionary is much better than Google Translate for translations between English and Spanish, if only because it gives you really decent example sentences! :D
If you just type in 'fluent' or 'fluently', it'll tell you:
USO La palabra "fluent" no existe en español, por lo que la expresión "con fluidez/con soltura" se usa en su lugar como adverbio para describir la fluidez con la que se habla un idioma.
(If you need help understanding what it says here, let me know
)
I'm pretty sure this is the one you were looking for, in the context of language, "fluido"(adj.) is not used. Instead, we paste: "CON(prep.) fluidez/soltura(noun)"-(adv.) behind it. ^^
The word 'fluido' does exist, though: as a description of a movement, such as in dancing or running liquid. ![]()
