Question

verb ( to believe; to think )

Also, I would like to thank all those that have so graciously donated their time in helping us with the Spanish corrections. Hopefully, I haven't left anyone out.

There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. Use today's Word of the Day in your own Spanish sentence (and include the English translation as well). Try to use the word in a completely new way and vote on the sentences you like best. The winner will be chosen based upon the correct use of the word as well as the number of votes.

Guidelines:

Write sentences at least 5 words long, but don't write a paragraph either. Write your Spanish sentence, but include the English translation as well. Make the corrections suggested by other users and moderators in the comments section (try not to use personal pronouns unless absolutely necessary). Use your own words! (Don't use a translator, copy from a book, use song lyrics, etc.) Please keep political, religious or personal statements to a minimum. This is a practice game.

No creo que las mujeres y los hombres sean tan diferentes, es solo que los hombres siempre tienen que leer los instrucciones antes de hacer algo, pero ahora las cosas se han cambiado, y ya solo hay que preguntar a cualquier niño de seis años como hacer las cosas. Por eso los pobrecitos hombres se sienten bastante de mas.

I don't think men are all that different from women, it's just that men always have to read the instructions before doing anything , but now things have changed and now one only has to ask any child of six how to do things. Because of this the poor men feel a bit superfluous.

Creo que uso mucho el verbo "creer"- aunque no creo que lo use con tanto tanta frecuencia como usa uso "ser"- creo que es possible que sea el segundo verbo más utilizado por mí- no estoy seguro de por qué, pero creo que siempre creo que es importante notar lo que sólo es lo que yo creo, y no que lo que sé, como sea un hecho sin duda.

I think that I use the verb "to think" a lot- although I don't think that I use it as often as I use "to be"- I think that it is possible that it is the second most used verb by me- I am not sure why, but I think that I always think that it is important to nate what only is what note that which is only what I believe, and not what I know to be a fact without doubt.

Please excuse me for correcting your English (where the typo is) but I think (believe) that you can say it more clearly thus: "important to 'note' that it is only what I believe..." - Jubilado, Feb 13, 2015

Creer es un tema para un libro no sólo una oración. Pero por la idea de creer me gusta la pelicula "Polar Express" (El expresso polar).

Believe is a word subject for a book not just a sentence. But for the idea of believe I like the movie "Polar Express." (I meant to put 'subject' or 'topic' originally, sorry.)
