Here is a medical Spanish site with many dialogs and medical terms.

In this dialog a person is asked if they have taken any medications for the pain.

¿Toma usted alguna medicina? ¿Toma usted alguna otra medicina? Are you taking any other medication?

Thanks Sandy , best way to go , we cannot spoon feed newbies forever. - ray76, Feb 12, 2015
Ray, I certainly agree with not doing people's homework for them or giving them answers for easy words that they can look up using the SpanishDict translator tool but with regard to helping them with more complex sentences they should try to have a go at - FELIZ77, Feb 13, 2015
doing them then submit their best attempt .....unless they are complete beginners and the sentence is an idiom which cannot be translated literally ...in which case we could help them! :) - FELIZ77, Feb 13, 2015

Hello ricanboysmooth621smile

You asked:

How do you say ''are you taking any other medications'' in spanish?

¿Toma Ud otras medicaciones (medicinas)? = Are you taking other medications (medicines)?

o

¿Toma Ud alguna otra medicacion? = Are you taking any other medication?

You would use the present indicative here that I have used in both my examples, and Sanlee has used, instead of the present progressive you have used in your example above. .You would only use the present progressive indicative to describe an action that is actually taking place at the time/now! The person taking the medications would not be taking them during every waking moment of their life, and the question implies a regular taking of medication not a continual one so the present indicative would be used.

Present indicative is used to mean: do you take/are you taking any other medicine/medication.

I hope this helps smile
