Both are correct.

The preposition "a" is mandatory when the verb is pronominal: acostumbrarse a algo.. Vgr.:

No me acostumbro a levantarme temprano.

I can't get used to get up early.

I can't get used to getting up early

I learned that acostumbrar is followed by 'a' asistir is another one. I looked it up here:

wikilengua

It seems to say in the majority of cases it is obligatory but opinion is divided where it is used in the sense of 'soler' - 'usually', where DRAE has both examples using ir. I would suggest until someone corrects you and tells you why, that you always put 'a' as that is always acceptable whereas the alternative is accepted in some parts of the Spanish speaking world.

If you have a teacher, it is a great question to ask them.
