¿Cómo se dice en español: ¨¨I am very close to my sister or family¨¨? Soy cercana de mi hermana- it does not sound right. Gracias Anna

You could say 'tenemos una relación muy estrecha' (we have a close relationship).

Idiomatically you can also say: Soy muy pegada a mi hermana / a mi familia.
