Crack open a bottle everyone, Jubilado has jumped from 25,000 to 50,000 in reputation! There's nothing "tired" about this retiree!

Jubilado is one of the few users who don't really use SpanishDict to learn. Oh sure, he might revisit a few key concepts every now and then, but he spends most of his time working to help US master Spanish!

His sharp wit is renowned, and he always seems to be around to lend a helping hand. He is one of my personal favorites on the Picture of the Day thread, both due to his sense of humor and excellent translation suggestions. On behalf of all of us here on SpanishDict, I would like to say...

Well, I decided to write to you all in both languages. Thank you all for your kind words. I am so happy to have this community of learners with which to practice and perfect Spanish. I hope to stay around for a long time and help as much as I can. With my fellow students’ help and all the native speakers we can make this a fun adventure! I’m so glad I joined here after retiring.

By the way the phase I learned years ago to say very fast was: The music of those countries is very popular in the United States.

Bueno, decidí de les escribir a usteds en los dos idiomas. Gracias por sus palabras amables. Estoy tan contento de tener esta comunidad de aprendices con quien puedo practicar y perfectar el español. Espero quedarme mucho tiempo y ayudar tanto como sea posible. Con la ayuda de mis socios de estudiantes y todos los hispanohablantes podemos divertirnos haciendo la aventura. Me encanta mucho que uní el sitio después de jubilarme.

Por cierto la frase que hace años aprendí decir muy rápido fue: “La música de esos países es muy popular en los Estados Unidos.”

Ahora me acuesto. ¡Sueños dulces!
