Posting advertising material on SD is forbidden .

I am sure that all members are aware that posting any material that is considered

to be advertising is totally forbidden on SD , we had to close two posts today

that were blatantly advertising one of them quite offensive .

Over the years some of us have inadvertently mentioned a product or have

used a reference to a company , that is OK and understandable ,

but a number of people have used their membership as a vehicle to promote

their own web site or company , this will not be allowed and they will be banned .

We all are bombarded enough in life without having to suffer it here on our family show.

Please members , we are not talking about those members that post links to their , or other sites in order to enhance our understanding of English /Spanish , members like Kiwi that give us far more than we can ever appropriately appreciate , their position is inviolate.

Ray, I sincerely hope that SpanishSkype has not been bannd. I would feel very sad if this were the case, because she has contributed greatly to ur understanding with her native Spanish language skills, but I would also understand SpanishDict's position . - FELIZ77, Jan 24, 2015

If I understand the problem correctly, I have noticed this same behavior in comment sections on YouTube, especially the popular videos where people just promote their own stuff having nothing to do with comments about the video. It makes me mad. - Sassette, Jan 25, 2015
