actividades en las comunidades

I want to write a report on the differences between how teens spend their time (how they entertain themselves, what activities, etc.) here in the U.S. and how they spend their time in Hispanic communities. However, I can't really travel to the countries (though I really want to) and internet research that I've done is plain. Can you guys enlighten me on the subject explain the differences as well as the similarities between the two teen cultures?

Thanks!

I think that you need to go to your public library and do some research mate that is a specialised subject this is a site for learning English and Spanish . - ray76, Jan 21, 2015
That's a great idea, but I would appreciate some personal input. Also SpanDict isnt just for learning English and Spanish. As I recall, I have seen multiple questions about the Spanish culture considering I did put my question under "Culture and Travel". - hrr123, Jan 21, 2015
Correct spanishdict is more than learning it is an interaction between friendly people learning English and spanish , You seam to be only interested in having your homework done , and have not exchanged a profile as we have with you. - ray76, Jan 21, 2015

Here's a quickie hint---Your Spanish textbook will have tons of info on this subject if it is anything like the one I teach from. Most of us here could write many pages on the cultural differences in activities of teens in the US and other countries. There are tons of articles on typical activities of teens in Mexico alone. You probably know about teen activities in the States.

You should google regarding what Mexican school life is like--how much more complicated it is compared to US school, how the graduates of thepreparatorias there are academically equivalent to 2nd year college students in the US.

How about sports? Kids in Mexico play sports for fun- they don't train like professional athletes like they do in the States. And Soccer is the favorite.

How many kids have super hi-tech smart phones? How many kids don't even go to school because they have to support their families.

These are just a few things that I could rattle on about for at least 50 pages. And I'm not even from Mexico. I'm from Spain, but I learned.
