'100 Latinos dijeron' tv show

I recently started watching the MundoFox program, 100 Latinos Dijeron. It's like Family Feud (US) or Family Fortunes (UK) in Spanish. I've found it more helpful than other tv shows for learning words in context. The speaking can be fast but it is repetitive and things get discussed or acted out so it helps me figure out what is going on. Since MundoFox puts episodes on youtube this show is available to pretty much every so I figured I'd mention it here.

Hola, Broca! I enjoy this TV show too, when I can talk my hubby into watching it with me. I even enjoy the commercials in between. The host is so lively and funny (even if I can't understand everything he says).

The good thing with this show is the repetition. Sometimes I get it, and sometimes not, but I'm so proud if I can explain the question to my husband and he tries to guess the answers in English. He works with a lot of Mexican guys and would like to learn Spanish (one day) as well so as to join in their banter. I'm trying to coax him to try SD (but he's just so sore and tired after work every day).

Thanks, Broca. I didn't know about this show. I just watched part of Episode 1. It looks like an excellent listening exercise for someone at my level. And fun!

At the risk of hijacking your thread, I wanted to mention Velvet, a telenovela that popped up on Netflix streaming this month. I've watched only the first episode so far, but it looks promising.
