What is the difference between the following.

Yo estaba trabajando

Me estaba trabajando

Estaba trabajando

I am trying to say "when I was working at night would I use yo or me" or just "cuando estaba"

When do I use me and when do I use yo

I would say 'yo' or neither if it's already clear that you mean 'yo' from the context.

Spanish 'me' is the object (accusative) pronoun, similar to English 'me'.

'Me estaba trabajando' would be like saying 'me was working'.

I think you can say simply 'cuando trabajando' or maybe even 'cuando en trabajo'.
