You don't need to learn grammar.
What you need is to translate what you know in your language to Spanish, but since you don't know Spanish, then you have to translate from Spanish to your native language.
Yes you can learn by listening, but since you are not a kid anymore, you already know how to read, write and express yourself in your own language, you need to apply all those skills to the language you want to acquire. That's for sure.
Just in case, I am not advocating for anybody to not learn grammar, just that you don't need it to learn any language. It is much better to learn the language and then once you are talking like a say 12 years old, then you can tackle grammar. Now, if you don't know you native language's grammar then by all means, please learn your own grammar before trying a foreign one!
Edit:
As a matter of fact you might as well watch movies and end up learning, but it would take a long time by doing that alone. I always recommend to watch a movie while also developing the other skills, because a movie has a "thread" and you can follow it not only with your ears but also with your eyes. Your brain will start very soon making the "connections" by coupling what you see with what you hear. Simple.
Again, by doing this alone, it would take some additional time to "translate" the foreign language to your native one (in your head).
You can't learn a language buy just listening to music and the speakers of that particular language any more than you learn martial arts by watching Bruce Lee movies.
You have to be in a situation where you have to make an effort and produce something.
As I have mentioned The Pimsleur Approach system is great for this. You have to speak the language. At first it is just repetition then it gradually builds up to actual coversation.
Being a Spanish teacher I recommend a Community college class. Mine is a lot of fun, I hope that others are as well.
It might seem strange if you were to learn Spanish exclusively through the medium of song, because on your first visit to a Spanish-speaking country, upon going into a shop, you would have to sing your order to the shopkeeper... And you might be a little confused when they don't sing their answer back to you.
That said, a world where the only form of language is singing is perhaps not without merit. I doubt the great military dictators of history could have incited such fervour in their followers had they sung their speeches...
You can't learn a language solely by listening to music or watching TV. You can certainly practice by doing so, but you will still need to learn grammar, vocab, ect...
Listening to music can be good practice, but it won't teach you what you need to learn. Sorry!
Yes, if you have about 150 years available to you.
