Brain fuddled after new year celebrations......

Do we generally use the noun before the adjective in Spanish?

Ie. is this correct....

hasta la semana próxima

durante un periodo largo......(for a long period)

Or should it be ...un periodo largo? Thanks

You could click on this it is from the SD learning resources.

Meaning-changing adjectives

Some adjectives can mean different things depending on their placement around the noun they modify. When placed after the noun like normal, the adjective carries a fairly objective, descriptive meaning. When placed before the noun, the adjective carries a more subjective, opinionated meaning.

Suerte.

thank you. However, in the context of 'over a long time' which do you think would sound better....durante un periodo largo or durante un largo periodo - vic5x5, Jan 3, 2015
I would say periodo largo - but also mucho tiempo. - ian-hill, Jan 3, 2015
