"Christ Jesus disciplines and teaches me to become his servant"

"Cristo Jesus me disciplina y me enseña para que llegue a ser su siervo."

In Spanish you word it a little differently. Word for word it states:

"Christ Jesus disciplines me and teaches me in order that I may come to be His servant."

(Y esto es la pura verdad.)

Jesus disciplines and teaches me to become his servant.

¿ Jesús me castiga y me enseña como hacerme su sirviente?

Annie, in the original Greek the word "disciplines" has to do with making one a "disciple" or student. There is another word for "chastises" - Daniela2041, Jan 1, 2015
Ok, just putting up a variant... I'm not religious, you see. - annierats, Jan 1, 2015

In Galatians 4:12 in some Spanish translations the verb hacerse is used to mean become.

"Les ruego, hermanos, háganse como yo, pues yo también me hice como ustedes."

So perhaps you could say: "Cristo Jesús (or Jesucristo) me disciplina y enseña para que me haga como su sirviente."

Because you have two verbs in your main clause, I would suggest using para que which always has the subjunctive following it.
