How does "apple crisp pie" translate to Spanish?

I'm having trouble translating "apple crisp pie" to Spanish? Any suggestions?

My attempt:

crujiente de manzana del pastel

I'm not happy with "crujiente". Also I'm wondering if "Apple crisp" in Spanish is considered a brand so it wouldn't have a translation?

The last noun in the sentence is actually the first one in Spanish. So you better start with "Pastel ...." - Vorterix, Dec 22, 2014

@ Vorterix - I'm smacking my forehead because of forgetfulness! Thanks for your help!

@bosquederoble I really appreciate your research! So I was correct about "crujiente de manzana"! Cool beans! (American idiom for excitement or "way to go")

Yes, the difference between "apple crisp" and "apple crisp pie" is the pie shell. Regular apple crisp as my Mom made it, was in a rectangular 9 x 12 cake pan.

No one seems to be giving you an answer, so I will make the guesses that I am able to. It is not always easy to translate a food ítem that is not routinely found in a Spanish speaking country.

I am not sure how an apple crisp pie differs from and apple crisp, but someone somewhere uses the term crujiente de manzana for it (the apple crisp), as that is what wiki has. I do not see any reason you couldn’t put pastel de in front of it although it sounds sort of redundant, and doesn’t clarify anything.

If what makes it a “pie” is the addition of a real pie crust maybe something descriptive would work:

Un crujiente de manzana, redondo, con una corteza de masa quebrada debajo (de y alrededor de él).

An apple crisp, round, with a crust of pie dough below (and around it).

No guarantees here at all. On any of it- it is all guesses.
