Is this correct ?
This did actually happen to me today just as I was finishing work on the last day before the festive holidays... Great start !!
I'm trying to say 'I've locked my car key inside my car'. Is this how to say it in Spanish (I'm determined to make something out of this rather annoying incident by means of a story that perhaps I can use to bore people in Spanish) ? Also, how would I say 'I've locked myself out of my car' ?
Multiple suggestions for 'I'm such an idiot' may also be relevant... !!

How about "He cerrado mis llaves en mi coche"?
