What about "FrenchDict"
En un hilo , días atrás, alguien mencionó la posiblildad de un "FrenchDict". Hubo un poquito de discución sobre el asunto, pero después, nada. De niña aprendí el francés, pues mi mamá es québequoise. Ahora me encuentro en una realidad que de veras me da miedo. ¡Estoy perdiendo mi conocimiento de la lengua. Hace años atrás me permetían enseñarla en la segundaria, pero ahora nada más enseño español.
¿Hay, de veras algún plan para instituir tal programa? ¿O debo olvidar el asunto?
A response from the moderators would really be appreciated. Or anybody else who might have an idea.

HI Dani....I don't believe there are any plans for a "Frenchdict." At least I haven't heard anything about such a plan. You should use the Feedback button and send this in to the administrators. I'm sure they can answer your questions. 
I would join & support a Frenchdict. Like Dani, I began French as a kid. I studied the language at school level till the end of high school, then took some language modules at uni (although it wasn't my main subject). I lived in Grenoble & studied at the uni there too for about one year, eventually graduating with the equivalent of the DEUG. However, that was over 20 years ago, & I'm embarrassed to say I've allowed my French to become rather rusty. Therefore, a Frenchdict would be very welcome.
I have to say I get the impression that the (European) French are not so keen on the internet as English-speakers, and of course there are far fewer of them world-wide than there are English & Spanish-speakers. Accordingly, support might be a little slow to grow, but I believe it could be worth the effort in the long run.
As a spur for the French (who, traditionally, have always been very proud of their language & its place in the world, albeit perhaps slightly complacent), perhaps they should be reminded that even in Britain Spanish has now overtaken French as the most taught second language in schools, or at least in primary schools (& the primary school kids of today are the high school kids of tomorrow). I recently visited our local primary school, where our son shall start next year, when the headmaster told me that from age 4/5, kids get 15 minutes of Spanish at the beginning of every day & 15 minutes at the end of every day, whereas they don't start French until 7/8. By contrast, when I was at school I never heard of anyone learning Spanish. The only languages taught to any meaningful extent in schools here back then were French, German & Latin. Now it's more likely to be Spanish & Mandarin (no one does Latin any more).
So much for 'plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose’ en un mundo donde cosas pueden cambiar muy rápido…
I just saw this. Since I am obviously - to those who have been reading my comments - the third big francophile in this community, I would also like a forum and help like this in French. Two days late, Daniela, but definitely on board with the idea. Anyone can always PM me with ideas or developments. You all might try "Meet Up" to see if there is a local French gathering in your area. We have one here but I can never get to the meetings!

Malhereusement, je ne connais pas d'un site comme comment cela sauf About.com qui contien beaucoup de ressources sur la langue francais.

Unfortunately, I don't no of any site like this except About.com which contains a lot of resources about French.
I also speak French and am also learning French / taking French lessons with a lady in my church who is married to a French native. (She has a degree in French)
I would also be very interested in a French Dict.
I did make enquiries about this very matter some time ago (many months ago I can't remember when exactly) and was told at the time that the SpanishDict management had no plans to start up a French equivalent site.
At the moment, I am aware that while many websistes include French resources:none of them are exclusively dedicated to learning French in the same way that we learn and are currently focused solely on learning Spanish and English here!
Currently, the resources that I am aware of on the internet, include:
1.French Yabla (formerly LoMas TV) This is a site that allows people to watch short videos presented by French natives on a range of topics and includes the options of subtitles which can be controlled by the viewer/student.
2 Busuu.com offers French teaching material written by natives in addition to teh opportunity to have your written respones/work corrected for free by French-speaking natives. You are encouraged to help by offering to corret other people's work in your native language.
3 Live Mocha.com A similar website to Busuu,com
4 Verbling
5 BBC languages website
While I would encourage you to check-out some of these interesting websites, I have to admit that they are not free in the same way/to the same extent as SpanishDict

Of course, there are also numerous, short, teaching videos on U-tube, of various languages, that have been uploaded by native speakers, For example: Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese and Italian, just for starters!
