We can surely say that we are happy to have this Vietnam vet ex-Marine and great guy
here with us because he is truly a 'legend' as Ray would say. So, Frank, as we wait for the band and the dancers to arrive,
I am thrilled to congratulate you on this great achievement!

¡ Dios mío, what a party! You all have left me fumbling for words to express my thanks and appreciation. I have to say a special thank you to Sandy ( Sanlee) for making this beautiful celebration post, to my dear wife who scolds me constantly to improve my Spanish and to Ray and Ian who have supported me all these years here.
One does not reach these milestones in a vacuum.
It is all of you, friends and acquaintances here, that make this moment possible.
Yes, I have a lot to learn and it will take me a lifetime to do so.

Keep flying high my friend! Never let us (okay, mostly me) weigh you down and keep you from your eventual mastery of Spanish. You may still be climbing the Mountain of Proficiency, but I predict that you will soon conquer that mountain. And when you do, you will leap forth and splash into the Ocean of Fluency!

Paco you have been here for many years entertaining us with your interesting posts , and also teaching us Spanish in that inimitable charming style that has captivated us , hanging on your every word and becoming hungry for more . We have all learned new and incredible words and phrases which hitherto were unknown and hidden from us .But more than that mate you have been a thorough gentleman in the old fashioned sense of the word .Knowing you and working with you has been one the highlights of my life .SD would be a dull old place without you , thank you , and may we have the pleasure of your company for many years to come .
