Eye popping

Question

I'm looking for the Spanish translation for ice-popping. I found "¡ojos fuera de órbita".

Any other suggestions or ideas? ¡Gracias a todos!

If you're looking literal translation, I suppose yours could work.

If you want to use that as a figure of speech, I might use the adjective alucinante, which is a strong, informal word for "amazing" or "awesome." It is like the Spanish word for the English word "mind-boggling."

The sentence means literaly "los ojos fuera de las orbitas", but in Spanish there is a word that summarizes this sentence: "ojiplático". This comes from the common sentence "ojos como platos" (eyes as plates):

Example:

He was eye-popping when he saw the prices of the shop

Se quedó ojiplático cuando vió los precios de la tienda

You also can use: alucinado, sorprendido, flipando (slang)
