Canciones de Navidad.
¿Cuál es tu canción de Navidad preferida.? Inglés or español.
My favorite of all times is Karen Carpenter's "Christmas Song" (Chestnuts roasting on an openfire----.) There has never been another singer like Karen, and probably never will be.
Go to youtube.com and type in "Karen Carpenter Christmas Song" to hear the most beautiful rendition, ever, of this classic written by Mel Tormé.

I grew up listening to Christmas albums by Boney M,Jim Reeves and Gunter-Kallmann. These songs make me feel Christmassy.
Some of my best traditional Christmas carols include While shepherds watched their flock by night, Away in a manger, O little town of Bethlehem and God rest ye merry gentlemen.
Feliz navidad a todos.
I grew up listening to Harry Belafonte's Christmas album. It's great - has a great Caribbean flare. It's just not Christmas without Harry. Nat King Cole's Christmas album is just classic and beautiful. For more modern and fun stuff, Mannheim Steamroller combines classic and new age on its Christmas albums. And who can leave out Kenny Loggins?
The only Latino Christmas music I know is José Feliciano "Feliz Navidad." I'd love to learn of some other Latino holiday music.
Una de mis caniones favoritas de Navidad es "Mary tuvo un bebé". Me gusta esta versión cantada por un coro en Omán.
One of my favorite Christmas songs is "Mary had a baby". I like this version sung by a choir in Oman.

I searched my memory and Youtube for a while, considering several.. to finally elect this one as my all-time feel-good christmas song :D Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow~~ (it's more of a winter song I suppose, but it gives me such a warm and fuzzy feeling.. it makes me want to snuggle into a blanket in front of the fire place with a cup of hot chocolate and look out the window at the twinkling white wonderland~~ ***)
Btw... did anyone else just realize how similar the title and theme of Disney's most recent movie's trademark song is..??
These are my three favorites.
