There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. Use today's Word of the Day in your own Spanish sentence (and include the English translation as well). Try to use the word in a completely new way and vote on the sentences you like best. The winner will be chosen based upon the correct use of the word as well as the number of votes.

1. Todo el mundo estaba muy confundido cuando el actor se puso a hablarle a una silla en la conferencia.
Everyone was very confused when the actor started talking to a chair in the conference.
2. Mi primo a menudo monta a caballo sin usar silla, pero yo no me atrevo.
My cousin often rides horses without using a saddle, but I don't dare.
Notes:
If you want to talk about a wheelchair, use "silla de ruedas." A rocking chair, though, is known as a "mecedora."
