Thank you SpanishDict, for everything!

Question

After logging in this morning, I realized that today is my one-year anniversary of joining the phenomenal SpanishDict Forum. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is a part of SpanishDict for working so hard to make this site the wonderful resource that it is.

The very fact that all of you are willing to sacrifice such a sizable portion of your time to keep this site afloat is a marvel. Whereas other language forums quickly degenerate and become nothing more than a spam and obscenity filled chat site, this forum has remained a radiant beacon for all those who are serious about learning a foreign language. Most remarkable of all, its users are kind and responsible people who enthusiastically plunge into the fray of distressed students and teachers, offering suggestions, answers, and some extremely useful hints and tips.

You even tolerate new users like me, users who do not immediately appreciate all the work that goes into keeping such a great site up and running. It took me a while, but I did learn, and I’m so thankful that you tolerated me for the time it took to make that discovery.

To all the users of SpanishDict, thank you for everything. And to the Moderators, a very very special thanks to you. Being a Mod is like having a full time job on top of a full time job!

Thank you SpanishDict. I have thoroughly enjoyed my last year with you, and I don’t intend to leave any time soon!

As you may remember I was not immediately forthcoming in my acceptance

of you ,but very quickly realised that we had a ripper of a member here.

I also had the gender confused but we soon sorted that one out

From the moment you started doing the image of the day you lifted the

tempo and the game took off , you have made SD a better site ,I thank you

for allowing us the pleasure of your company , may it always continue "legend".

Como había dicho antes, el amor y la buena voluntad florecen en abundancia en este sitio.

There is such a feeling of good will and love here, I really love the way HCA expresses his ideas and I think that the love back toward him is a good expression of how we all feel.

(Some day I'm going to try to understand all the hieroglyphics in the instructions on how to post pictures to this site. Technical things just slip right past me.)

Yes, it is a very lovely gesture. If it were not for people like you, SpanishDict would not be any different from any other site. Thank you for being here and for all your great contributions. We are all extremely happy and feel very fortunate to have you in our SD family.
