Need help translating the word "implementos" in this sentence...

What exactly would be the translation of "implementos" in this sentence? And with this context in mind, how would you translate "conformarnos mejor'"

The word I need is actually "wheelie" not wheelchair. You are right, though most people say "silla". No, no luck so far...I keep hoping though!.

Did you ever find a word for wheelchair? "sillón de ruedas" is the only thing that I've ever heard.

They may be trying to get better instruments...David is playing the violin he made himself...maybe he thinks a commercial one would be better? Just a thought, it really seems like that is what they are referring to.

Yes, I understand the rest. I would have thought instruments as well, except that there is a picture which shows them playing the instruments. I like the translation "present themselves better." I think you are on-target with that one.

i'm guessing they mean "instruments" and by conformarnos mejor" they might mean "to fit in better" or "appear better"? These are just guesses...it might help if you could give more of the context...
