que canción más precioso Is it a correct colloquialism

que cancion mas precioso....would this make sense? Is it a correct colloquialism? I grew up in southern spain and although I know that it is not grammatically correct, is it something people would say to express extreme loveliness?

I would not call it colloquial, but your understanding is correct and note that "canción" is feminine. Written it should be: ¡(Pero) Qué canción más preciosa!

That answer (Julian's) is so right on that it's in all the Spanish textbooks.

The template is: Qué +noun+más+adjective.

Example. íQué perro más feo!

What an ugly dog!!
