How to say "Thanksgiving" in Spanish
I know that this is only celebrated in the US and Canada, but how would one say "Thanksgiving" in Spanish? I have searched, and I've seen the translations and websites that say "Acción de Gracias" and "Dia de Acción de Gracias," but it seems rather awkward, especially if you're trying to say Happy Thanksgiving, or Happy Thanksgiving day. The one response I saw from a Mexicana that made much more sense was simply "Dia de Gracias" (Day of Thanks) and thus "Feliz Dia de Gracias."
What do you all think, especially our friends from Spanish-speaking countries?
A propósito, Feliz Dia de Gracias a todos!!

It is a little cumbersome in Spanish, but you were soooo close.
Te lo digo a ti y a todos.
¡Feliz día de Acción de Gracias! ![]()
The "acción" word means "act" in the religious sense. So, Happy Day of an Act of Thanks! And that's the whole enchilada! (filled with "pavo" and a yummy Mexican mole, Yupí)
feliz dia de gracias
dia de gracias
dia de accion de gracias
