Thanks to all of you.
Here is what I want to ask him.
Hello,
What size is your fishing rod?
How many pieces? How long are they?
Does it have an extra tip?
Is it a bamboo rod?
What color would you like?
Thank you,
Betty
Good point. Didn't think about the ramifications.
Betty
I fish as a past time so I may be able to help. As james has already said, put your reply in English on this discussion page and I or someone else will answer it for you.
As I said, Betty, you have to write it first in English. Not a summary, but exactly what you want translated. Make it easy for people to help you.
Can anyone translate into Spanish what I asked James to do?
Thanks,
Betty
Write, briefly, exactly what you want to say, and maybe someone will translate it. My strength lies in the other direction.
Thanks James, I appreciate your answer.
This man has ordered a bag for a fishing rod. I don't know what size (length) it is or how many pieces it is.
A fly rod breaks down into pieces and some have 2 tips. so " I" cannot make that decision. He must tell me what he has. The bag has a pocket for each piece (section) of the rod.
I have written repeatedly to him explaining this.
I don't know what else to say to him.
Can you ask him in Spanish, and I will copy and paste your message into an email to him.
I thank you so much,
Betty
Hi, sorry for not replying sooner, but I've been out of town. Put it however you want, I leave it to your discretion. Regards
