Trick-or-Treaters
How do you say trick-or-treaters in Spanish? I'm trying to talk about a Halloween party, but I can't find a translation for this.

Dulce o truco en México.
In Spain Halloween is quite new and the TV is trying to impose it. But for the people older than 30-40 is unknown. I think that the translation of trick or treat is "truco o trato", but the children who has knock on my door only show the bag and say: Dame caramelos. (Give me sweets)
I think we don't have a word for that. You may translate it with a phrase instead. Like:
Los niños que piden dulces por la fiesta de halloween.
I've seen the word 'enmascarado' used for trick-or-treater, i.e. the individual who undertakes the activity of trick-or-treating, i.e. literally 'masked one'. 'Dulce o truco' or 'truco o trato' would seem to relate to the activity itself.
Even in English there are different words. In Scotland we call trick-or-treaters 'guisers' (because they wear a (dis)guise) & the activity is called 'guising'. Incidentally, in Scotland if any guiser dared knock on a stranger's door to say 'give me sweets', he would probably find himself being chased up the garden path with a witch's broom !!
