"Chum" in the movie, Jaws

In the movie Jaws, Chief Martin Brody said, "Come on down here and chum some of this...."

My question is what is the Spanish word for "chum"? All I can find for "chum" is a friend. What I want is a mixture of frequently rancid fish parts and blood, dumped into the water to attract predator fish, such as sharks.

Welcome back Bandita! Would cebo or carnaza work? They both technically mean "Bait", but I think carnaza refers to meat.

Any corrections appreciated.

@ HCA For me that would work as "chum" could be rancid. So maybe "cebo rancio" would work in my sentence in your Picture of the Day!
