Hola, Mohamed, Salam aleichem! - my spelling is probably wrong :(

Another good dictioionary is the Larousse College Dictionary- Spanish-English. It has over 200,000 entries. It is sort of big, you can't exactly put it in your pocket, but it serves me well. I bought mine on Amazon.com for around twenty dollars.

Buena suerte, Dani.

Hello mohamedsaleh

Welcome to the SpanishDict forum smile

You asked:

Please tell me what are the dictionaries that help me in learning spanish ... Por favor, dígame ¿cuáles son los diccionarios que me ayudan en el aprendizaje de español .

I would say Please tell me, which (Spanish) dictionaries could I use to help me to learn Spanish? = Por favor, díme ¿cuáles diccionarios (españoles) podría usar para ayudarme a aprender español, (el idioma español) ? .

1 The R.A.E. Real academia Española which is considered by most Hispanic people/native Spanish-speaking people as the leading authority on what is, and also what is not, considered acceptable Spanish today! Please follow this link enter link description hereto find the dictionary:

2 Collins Spanish Dictionary (Complete and unabridged /unedited version) Available at Amazon eg Amazon.co.uk (UK) [Please follow this link:][2]

3 Oxford English -<--->Spanish Dictionary To the best of my knowledge the 4th edition is the most recent and they usually release a new edition every 5 years. I am talking here of the extensive largest version (not any of the smaller versions) the former amentioned which includes idioms and a middle section on how to write letters and make telephone calls in Spanish. Complete and unabridged version. Please follow same link above as for Collins Spanish Dictionary.

4 Word reference.com. Online dictionary You can use this ..it is free! Please follow this link: enter link description here

5 SpanishDict .com dictionary

These are just some of the available Spanish dictionaries. I will try to add links to help you to view them! smile

I hope this helps smile

In Spanish the two most important dictionaries are:

RAE

Maria Moliner

But both are only in Spanish.

The RAE has been invaluable to me. I use it a lot. :) - rac1, Nov 7, 2014
In theory is the only valid diccionary in Spanish. They are the only official association that "controls" the evolution of the Spanish language. In English does not exist any similar :( - txustaboy, Nov 7, 2014
I know, it would be nice if English had one like that. - rac1, Nov 8, 2014
English is too flexible to contemplate haveing one :) - ian-hill, Nov 9, 2014

Try to find the Oxford Study Genie Plus.

It works very well on a PC too.
