Por ejemplo : Yo sólo entro a comprobar el correo.

Entrar means to enter, go in, come in.
Comprobar means to confirm, verify, check, test.
Yo sólo entro a comprobar el correo means I only am coming in to check the mail.
The translator on this site which you can use says: I just went to check the mail.
