Here are your (the ones you put in the comment box) answers with your sentences:
Fill in the blank with the correct imperfect form of the verb in parentheses.
Nosotros estábamos (estar) hablando por teléfono.
Habían Había (Haber) muchos estudiantes en clase todos los días.
Mi familia y yo íbamos (ir) a la playa todos los veranos.
Felipe le escribía (escribir) cartas de amor a Isabel.
Cuando ellos tenían (tener) 18 años, vivían en San Francisco.
Cuando éramos estudiantes en la universidad, estudiábamos (estudiar) mucho.
They are all the correct imperfect forms In the indicative mood except the second one. Note that the present tense for haber in this sentence would have been hay which is impersonal and does not depend on the subject. It will mean "there were" here but can also mean "there was". Sorry I mislead you in the first post. You may have noticed that this is one of the easiest tenses to learn in Spanish.

I see Jubilado entered your answers in his post.
I think your third line " habían " is incorrect. Check the conjugation of that auxilliary verb.
