Haircut! Please proofread!
I think this is correctly translated, I just want to make sure! I'm posting a fb status about my haircut and want to make sure some family friends in Mexico can read it. It's okay if it's not a direct translation, and I'm leaving out the part about most people having seen it by now because the people reading it in Spanish have definitely not seen it. I'm mostly worried about sounding too formal or using awkward phrasing.
Creo que eso lo traducí bien, pero me gustaría estar seguro antes de ponerlo en Facebook. Tengo amigos familiares en México, quiero que ellos lo puedan leer. No tiene que ser precisamente traducido, lo que me importa es que no sea demasiado formal y que no se oiga raro.

¡Me lo corté el pelo! Algunos me han preguntado si es un símbolo o si estoy bien. Sí, estoy bien, y no tuve ninguna razón mas que curiosidad.
¿Es "me lo corté el pelo" o sólo "me corté el pelo"?

The correct way is "me corté el pelo" actually would be better say "me corté el cabello".
In spanish from Spain, the common way to say that is. Me corte el pelo. You can use cabello too, but in Spain it's not common that way.
I would change some parts of the sentence in spanish, but it's not really bad.

La gente (Algunos) me preguntan si estoy intentando expresar algo o que si estoy bien.
I remark that i'm translating to spanish from Spain because maybe in the spanish from South America some words can change.
