How do you pronounce the R at the end of a word?

I'm really trying to get the sound correct, but I'm not exactly sure how it should be pronounced. I am talking about the final R in infinitives and other words that end in R. Morir, comer, hablar, etc. I don't know if it is rolled like the rr such as in perro, just not as harshly, since that is what I think I hear when listening to a speaker on a drama, for example. Or, is it pronounced with the single flap that is heard in the word pero. I'm really struggling with this sound. :(

It's an R like in "pero". If you use a rolled R it'll be 100% understandable but you'll sound a little bit Russian raspberry
Although a native speaker could sometimes roll it at the end of a word and it won't sound weird at all, but if you don't roll it you can be sure you're saying it well.

Amigo, "understandable". I can roll my R's because my grandparents spoke a form of Dutch from Belgium. - Jubilado, Oct 27, 2014

Use the dictionary. Type in a word like morir or hablar. Just beside the main definition is a symbol like a horn press it an you will give a to hear it spoken by a native. Try as many as you like.

I actually wanted feedback from you all on Spanishdict and not directed to a dictionary, which I've already used. - BajoLasEstrellas, Oct 25, 2014
Listening to it spoken by native speakers will help more than an explanation. At least for me it would. Sorry this is not what you were looking for. - gringojrf, Oct 25, 2014

Extend the tip of your tongue to just behind the hard palate and vibrate the tip of you tongue as you expel the air and voice the consonant.

Frankly I find it much easier to listen to native speakers, ask them to help, and / or use the tool on this web site as gringojrf so kindly suggested.

I would say it is like a "softer" RR but not as "soft" as a single R

If you ask me R at the beginning and at the end of a word should sound equally, when pronounced correctly.

But then again, that's me.
