Tocarse hablar
Había representantes de diferentes empresas y yo rogaba porque no me tocara hablar con uno que no entendiera español pero así fué. Hablaba muy rápido así que le pedí si podíá hablarme mas despacio.
-¿ Que significa tocarse hablar en este contexto? ¿Es como decir tener que, haber de, deber, echar de?

Your turn to speak.
One of the meanings of the verb"tocar" is to be one's turn.
In this phrase the verb is conjugated to subjunctive imperfect;
Yo rogaba porque no me tocara hablar.
So; he was praying to not have a turn to speak ( with someone that would not understand Spanish).
your turn to...
In that context it means to have to.
She/he had to speak with somebody and was hoping she/he doesn't have to speak with somebody that doesn't understand Spanish.
It's often use when something is going to happen and you're referring to one of the possible cases.
For example;
"Espero que no me toque el profesor García" -- I mean, "I hope profesor García won't take this class." (You can't avoid having a profesor)
"Espero que me toque el rol del tipo malo" -- "I hope I get to play the bad guy's role. (Somebody has to play that role)
