Sus padres is 3rd person-someone’s parents, not second person (you all)- so it would be son
Nosotros (we) are happy for the trip to Lima- this is not saying you all are happy people, but that you are in the state/condition of happiness due to an upcoming event- estar. So estamos.
Sus padres son del Perú.
Nosotros estamos alegres por el viaje a Lima.
