what does the expression "Como para no" translate to

Question

I said in spanish that I loved a certain actor and my friend responded with,"Como para no " what does that mean? I was going to ask her but it seems so simple and I am embarrased to ask! Haha because I have full conversations in Spanish with her and I feel like I should know this simple phrase! What does it mean? My friend lives in Spain, if that helps. Thank you!

Also, I know the literal translation but it doesn't make sense in english.

Here's a link to a discussion of como para no in another context. I think Winkfish is correct about the meaning in your context. Although it doesn't translate literally into English I think it means in general "why not..." or "how could it be otherwise..."

Well, I learned that "¿Cómo no?" means "How not?" or "How could you not?" "Maybe "como para no" is a version of that. So when you said you loved an actor, she was saying in effect "How could you not love him?" Rather like "doh!"
