"It's getting hot(cold, etc.)."
Which one of the "Become Verbs"(Ponerse, Volverse, Hacerse, Convertirse) would be used when using a simple phrase like, "It's getting cold in here(humid in here, warm in here, etc.)."?

I use ponerse. But I am not a native speaker.
Está poniéndose frio. Pon un suéter.
This is from the dictionary: ponerse a hacer algo = to start o begin to do sth; start o begin doing sth
So maybe I should be saying: Se pone a hacer frio.
'Se está poniendo' or 'está haciendo'...buuut
(it's getting hot) Está haciendo calor (but you can't say: Está haciendo caluroso - it's getting warm) (it's getting warm)Se está poniendo caluroso (but you can't say: Se está poniendo calor - it's getting hot)
the same with 'frío/fresco' and 'húmedo' but
'está haciendo frío' and 'se está poniendo frío' are right
but 'se está poniendo fresco' is right and 'está haciendo fresco' is wrong
'se está poniendo húmedo' is the only one option :D
COCLUSION: 'se está poniendo' match with 'fresco, caluroso, húmedo' and 'está haciendo' with 'frío, calor' . and since we are talking about the weather, check out this
'Hace frío' - Está fresco' it's cold (but 'Está frío' is right too but 'Hace fresco' is wrong')
'Hace calor - Está caluroso' it's hot/warm ('Está calor and Hace caluroso are wrong both hehe)
'Está húmedo' It's humid
that was all
None of these ,, because when you talk about weather you use the verb "hacer" .. you could say ... esta haciendo frio..
If you are not talking about the weather you could say... se esta volviendo frio ...
ponerse is mostly used for living beings to indicate physical or mental changes ..(temporary states of mind or being) .. for example .. me pongo nervioso al oir tus palabras
