cholo- (en las zonas fronterizas del norte de México) joven vago, normalmente que forma parte de una pandilla y que tiene una manera de vestir y hablar particulares. ('Con esa camisa pareces un cholo')
Guacha= es un anglicismo de guachar (Watch). Mirar, fijarse, estar atento. (¡guacha que día tan bueno')

I think cholo means mestizo (mixed-race), but is also used as slang in various ways.
Never heard the other, unless you meant gaucha.
