ios8 problems

Question

Since I "upgraded" to ios8 I have had increasing problems with the SD forum. At this point, I can no longer log on at all using my ipad or iphone. I keep getting a 404 error "ay caramba! page not found". This happens on the login page, as well as the q+a page. Have opthers been having this problem? I have to use a borrowed laptop to log in now, pretty inconvenient.

OK...one more update....I downloaded a third party browser, and everything seems to be working again. The problem seems to be in the new version of Safari, not ios8. Thanks for the input!

I am using my iPad to write this in the normal Safari browser. iOS 8.0.2

Maybe SD is not compatible with "touch screen" technology.

I have never tried it.

I have just tried to access SpanishDict .com website and have succeeded in doing so using my Galaxy S3 smart phone which, of course, uses touch-screen technology

I used:

1.wifi

2 Mozilla firefox browser app and put a search in the box above for our website.

I was able to enter in and save my password so you can see touch-screen technology is not itself a barrier to accessing this website!

Which browser are you using to access our website: Google, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox Safari or a different one?

Have you checked your antivirus settings in case the antivirus is blocking access to the site?

Another posibility: It could simply be Ios8 ??? I think that the technology in SpanishDict is quite old and may not be adapted to cope with the most up to date technology You could try sending a PM to Stuart here to ask him, or Chris!

I suggest that you exchange Skype details with some people here so that you can ask for their help if you are unable to continue to access SpanishDict. an they can contact Chris or Stuart.

Finally, you could contact the manufacturers of Ios8 to ask for their advice.

Guys, I am pretty sure the problem is with ios8, since I have always used my ipad fpr SD before the upgrade. Anyone else with an iphone or ipad who could test it out?
