Are my basic Spanish sentences correct?
Im trying to write several Spanish sentences describing whats happening in photos. The first sentences, in English, is what I want to say, and the second sentences, in Spanish, is how I think I can say it.
Can you tell me if I made any mistakes?
Also, Im very new to learning Spanish, so the simpler you can keep things, the better. Thanks so much.
Two students are walking and talking. One is carrying books. Dos estudiantes caminan y hablan. Una estudiante lleva los libros.
A student (boy) is looking for a book. A student is resting. And a student (girl) is studying. El estudiante busca el libro. Un estudiante descansa. Y la estudiante estudia.
A man is drawing and listening to music. He sings (too). El hombre dibuja y escucha la música. El canta.
The passengers travel by bus. They carry suitcases. They like to travel. Los pasajeros toman el autobús. Ellos llevan los maletas. Les gusta viajar.

These are what I see:
First one- seems okay to me as long as the student carrying the books is female (una). And you are saying she carries the books, not she carries books, by including los.
Second- you translated "a" as el or la in several places. El/la= the
Third I would have written- El hombre dibuja y escucha música. Canta también. También= too. If you stick with the pronoun in the second it would have to be "Él"- with the accent.
Fourth- "toman el autobús" is take the bus. "viajan en autobús" would be travel by bus. Either probably work if you don't have to match the English. If you keep an article before maletas it needs to be las, but then you are saying they carry the suitcases, and without the article is closer to your English.
There are cases where English and Spanish differ in the use of articles, but none of these are those.
