"Que" meaning in a special sentence

Could you translate this sentence? I have focused on "Que", i want to know the role of "Que" in this scentence.

Que a Pepa se le pierdan las llaves (es raro).

Perder is in subjunctive, so this focuses on the posibility of this happening rather than the past action. In English the nuance is: That Pepa would loose the keys is rare.

Also note that because perder is in present subjunctive, estar (es raro) is in present.

I have 2 other questions:

1- Can i delete "le" but i keep "A Pepa" in that sentence? If it is possible where is the position of "A Pepa" in the sentence? Sentences like:

Que se a pepa pierdan las llaves (es raro).

Or:

Que se pierdan las llaves a Pepa (es raro).

Or:

Que se pierdan las llaves por Pepa (es raro).

2- why "es raro" is in parenthesis? Is it an obligatory?

I result that "Que" is relative pronoun that relate two sentences. So if i omit "es raro" then i must delete "Que" too. otherwise the sentence has no correct meaning. Is it true?
