My attempt Jubilado (and btw where is your attempt? lol)

Women take their clothing much more seriously than men, I've never seen a man at a party saying Oh, my God, how embarrassing, get me out of here I have seen a man with a suit just like mine.

Gracias chicos smile

beh I thought you was requesting a translation, forget it ;) - 003e54f5, Oct 3, 2014
Pablo, I am glad you did it for other learners. - Raja-jani, Oct 3, 2014
"with a suit just like mine" would be my suggestion. "with the same suit as me" would also work. :) - bosquederoble, Oct 3, 2014
The only change I'd suggest: "like mine" or "the same as mine." - AnnRon, Oct 3, 2014
Yes, thanks for the translation, Pablo. :) - rac1, Oct 3, 2014
And Pablo I would say "how embarrassing" instead of "what a shame". - Jubilado, Oct 3, 2014
I agree with the suggestions given by AnnRon and Jubilado as well. :) - bosquederoble, Oct 3, 2014
Wow Pablo, I would have said exactly the same ! lol I thought about my answer and spoke it out aloud but read yours before I decided to do anything about it lol Now teher is no point in offering my translation as ours would be identical loll - FELIZ77, Oct 3, 2014

Even though you're a native English speaker, I think you will agree "how embarrassing" works better in this case. - Jubilado, Oct 3, 2014
And "who's wearing the same thing I am." - Jubilado, Oct 3, 2014
I think igual here is used to imply "the same as mine" not as good. This is based on context- women consider it to be a major faux pas to wear identical clothes, and guys don't care, at least according to popular cultural stereotypes. ;) - bosquederoble, Oct 3, 2014
For sure, Bosque, I often wonder why I never see shirts like mine. That's why I replied to my friend the way I did. - Jubilado, Oct 3, 2014
Yes Sir, Embarrassing sure sounds much polite but you asked me for the translation so i translated whats written their in Spanish .. hehe ..but thanks everyone for the feedback .. ::) - Joydeep_Singh, Oct 3, 2014
Just remember Jimmy that a good translation rarely matches up word for word with the original - the goal should be to communicate what the person meant in context, not so much what each word means by itself. Imho at least ;) - Kiwi-Girl, Oct 4, 2014
OK Kiwi ma'am, thanks for your kind suggestion, I appreciate it :)' - Joydeep_Singh, Oct 4, 2014
